Ferda blames her troubles on her mother's abandonment. Berna is married with three children. Ferda has an affair with Berna's husband, causing a tragic event. Duru, Perihan's granddaughter studying in the US, arrives for the funeral. Ferda surprises the family by calling Perihan "mother," revealing a secret. This leads to a war between mother and daughter, affecting their neighbors Ipek and Aras.
