Jirayu La-ongmanee, nicknamed Kao, is an actor born in Rayong province and moved to Bangkok at the age of three months to live with his mother Woranuch La-ongmanee. He studied at the School of Amatyakul and entered the entertainment industry at the age of five. He majors in acting and directing films at Srinakharinwirot University.
He was discovered at the age of five when with his mother, who was accompanying a friend's child at a model casting session. Jirayu then began acting in several television soap operas (lakorn), becoming widely noted for his role as Santi, a difficult child, in 2005's 'Fa Krachang Dao'. He was then invited to try for a cinematic role in 'King Naresuan', in which he played the role of young Boonthing. He has since acted all his life in other feature films and has numerous television, advertising and modelling works.

He gained popularity after he starred in film 'SuckSeed'. Jirayu won Daradaiy 'The GREAT Awards' 2011 Best Actor for his role. Having managed to attract the attention of fans for play a role as "Ped" in SuckSeed, at 2012 Jirayu return to acting with Nattasha Nauljam in Mini Movie "Just a Second".
And his next project is being cast in Thai Movie drama romance Seven Something Film directed by Jira Maligool, Adisorn Trisirikasem and Paween Purikitpanya. Jirayu starring opposite Sutatta Udomsilp. He won 29th Saraswati Royal Awards Best Supporting Actor for this Movie.
