Kristie Raymond is an Australian actress, known on her role as Danni McGregor in Australian TV western-drama series, The Man from Snowy River (1995-1996).
Raymond was inspired to become an actor when she saw a production of 'West Side Story' at age 11. When she was six, she started dancing lessons and for 10 years learned jazz ballet, tap, and eventually ballet.
She stumbled into drama when a friend changed schools and told her of a technical college where students devised their own plays, wrote music, and choreographed dance for their own productions. She runs her own production company called Kreation and is producing a play based on a children's story, 'Koala Lou' by Australian children's writer Mim Fox.
