Drew Moore was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 20, 1965. He comes from a family of three generations of ministers in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He started taking acting classes when he was 12 years old and was soon performing in professional theater, TV and commercials throughout the region. Right after college in the summer of 1988, Drew teamed up with high school friends to stage the inaugural production of Nashville Shakespeare Festival, starring as Orlando in "As You Like It.” Drew’s early acting training included Nashville Academy Theater and The Acting Studio, Northwestern University, and British-American Drama Academy in London. In his late 20s, Drew took a long hiatus from acting. He earned his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the City University of New York and taught English and Classics at West Point and Brooklyn College. Since returning to acting in 2013, he has appeared on a number of TV shows such as “American Horror Stories,” “Law & Order: Organized Crime," "FBI: Most Wanted," and "Power Book III: Raising Kanan." In 2024, Drew's TV appearances include a recurring role on season two of "The Night Agent," "Zero Day" starring Robert DeNiro," and "Lady in the Lake".
