Eric Lutes (born August 19, 1962) is an American actor, best known for his role of Del Cassidy on Caroline in the City and as Jake Carlson on So Little Time alongside the Olsen Twins and again with them in Switching Goals. His career started with several commercial spots. He then moved to New York and appeared in many off-Broadway productions before finally making the move to Los Angeles where he landed the role on Caroline in the City. He also played the KACL station manager, Tom Duran in the second season of Frasier and has appeared in numerous TV movies.
Lutes was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and raised in Charlestown, Rhode Island, the son of Claire, an astrologer and psychiatric nurse, and John Lutes, an artist. He attended Chariho Regional High School where he was a member of the Chariho Boys Track Team. Lutes married Christine Romeo in 1990. They divorced in 2006. He also guest-starred on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody as Harry O'Neal, a Tipton guest who conned the Tipton staff into giving him free stuff.
