Vladimir Orlov

Stuntman, stunt director. Born in Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR in the family of an engineer. Graduated from the Leningrad Military Institute of Physical Education. Master of Sports in pentathlon. Since 1985 stuntman of the Lenfilm film studio. In the mid-1990s, he left for the United States and after some time performed and staged stunts in American blockbusters, including Air Force One, The Mask of Zorro, Soldier, The Tourist and others. In some of them, he played supporting roles. In total, more than 30 Hollywood films. Since the mid-2000s, Vladimir has had work in Russia again. He created the StuntArt company, which includes leading stuntmen from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev and which is equipped with the latest technology for creating movie stunts. In 2007, he was nominated for the American TAURUS stunt award in the category "Best Stunts in a Foreign Film" (for the film "Nomad"). In 2008, he was twice nominated for TAURUS in the category "Best Stunts in a Foreign Film" (for the films "Paragraph 78" and "The Apocalypse Code"). In 2010, he won the American TAURUS stunt award for the film "Forbidden Reality" (category "Best Stunts in a Foreign Film").
